DAY 35
MARCH 16, 2025

Psalm of Praise

Psalm Writing Challenge

Today’s Psalm workshop challenge centers on what you were created for! You were MADE FOR WORSHIP. Each time you learn something new about God through His Word or through His providential interaction with you through a life-situation, you are commanded to “ascribe” to the Lord the “glory due Him.” This is, at its core, the essence of PRAISE. Invite the Holy Spirit into your heart and ask Him to give you words and remembrances to paint a Psalm of Praise to God.

The road map to this one is simple. Think of it as a Psalm of Orientation. You are in tune and fully in touch with the ways God is moving in your life: the blessings, love, adoration and faithfulness He continues to bestow upon you. Keep in mind that these types of Psalms are usually in line with God being the Creator, life-giving and the One who puts order to everything. Try to use elements that allude to or suggest those themes.

As before, be prepared to share these in groups this evening. This is our final night of home groups, and a great set of Psalms to end our time sharing with one another.
